I
have been asked to start a “Blog” and honestly I resisted (quite adamantly as a
matter of fact) and finally have given in.
Within this blog I will attempt to bring relevant information, guidance
and my thoughts and feelings as we go through this journey of creating the
foundation in Sean Nielsen’s memory as well as healing from the loss of my son,
best friend and reason for living for 34 years.
We will be sharing posts from other blogs, articles, facts that are pertinent to our mission and sharing Inspiring Quotes.

This foundation was created in memory of Sean Nielsen (1979—2013). We recognize that adult individuals with developmental disabilities and their families need support in the process to becoming independent and active members of their community. We provide financial support in three targeted areas: S.M.I.L.E. Program, Independence Initiative and Special Needs Camp.
